Share and invite: Get your students to join

Introduction

Orbi makes it easy to invite students and grow your organization by sharing dynamic links. These links automatically direct users to the right place, whether they are new to Orbi or already using the app.

Follow the steps below to start sharing and inviting students.

Step 1: Share your organization page

You can share your organization page to help students discover your organization.

To share your page:

1. Go to your organization page

2. Find the Share your page section

3. Copy your organization link

You can share this link through:

• Instagram (posts or bio)

• WhatsApp groups

• Other student channels

These links are dynamic and will guide users to the correct destination automatically. 

Step 2: Share your events

Promote your events by sharing event links directly.

To share an event:

1. Open your event page

2. Copy your event link

You can choose between:

• Web link

  • Opens in a browser

  • Best for new users

• App link

  • Opens directly in the Orbi app

  • Best for existing users

Tip: Share both links to maximize reach.

Step 3: Share your membership

Invite students to join your membership directly through a link.

To share your membership:

1. Go to your membership page

2. Copy the membership link

3. Share it through your channels

Students can:

• Sign up

• Join directly through the link

This is especially useful for:

• Member-only events

• Private access

• Collecting membership fees

• Building a long-term community  

Step 4: Invite members directly

You can also invite members manually for faster onboarding.

To invite members:

1. Click Invite

2. Upload a CSV or Excel file with email addresses

Invited members:

• Can join directly

• Do not require approval, even if approval is enabled

Step 5: Use brand assets (optional)

You can download ready-made brand assets to promote your organization.

For example:

• Share a post or story announcing your organization on Orbi

• Add your link to guide students to your page

This helps increase visibility and engagement.
